When is the best time to use Complex Energy Gel?

During training, a match, or a race- whenever you need to quickly top up your energy. The gel makes the most sense during activities lasting more than about 60 minutes, or anytime your performance or focus starts to drop.

How many gels should I use during exercise?

It depends on the length and intensity of the activity. One gel contains 35 g of carbohydrates, which fits the common target of 30–60 g of carbs per hour. For efforts longer than 1–2 hours, 1–2 gels per hour will usually be enough. For longer or more demanding sessions, the gels can be effectively combined with an electrolyte drink.

Is it a good idea to combine the gel with an electrolyte drink?

Yes. The gel is primarily a source of energy, while an electrolyte drink also helps with hydration and replenishing electrolytes. Using both together is ideal for activities lasting more than 60–90 minutes or for high-intensity efforts.
